Samuel George Barisch, 90, of Sandusky and formerly of Fremont passed away peacefully Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at Admiral's Pointe in Huron.
While at Admiral's Pointe, Sam touched many lives and will be missed. The great care he received from Admiral's Pointe and Stein Hospice will always be remembered by his family with the greatest respect.
Sam was a proud union member at the Ford Motor Company for 31 years, retiring in 1982. He enjoyed the Gospel and being with his loving family.
He is survived by his loving daughters, Lora (Wayne) Hamrock, Virginia Zahniser, and Joanne Harke; grandchildren, Angela (Matt) Ayers, Michael Hamrock, Pari Zahniser, and Andrew Barisch; sister, Annie Lieter; brother, Bob Barisch; and numerous loving nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Francis (Petrovitch) Barisch; His wife, Juna Barisch in 2007, a son, Samuel Mark Barisch in 2015 and his grandson, Mark Allen Barisch in 2015.
Friends will be received on Saturday, October 24, 2015 from 10 a.m. until a funeral service begins at 10:30 a.m. at Foos Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 504 E. McPherson Highway, Clyde. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Fremont.
