Freda M. (Lantz) Shoup, age 96, of Norwalk, died Monday, October 26, 2015 at Twilight Gardens Home.
She was born March 6, 1919 in Bellevue to the late Harry and Mary (Shelley) Lantz.
She was a graduate of Bellevue High School and through the years moved to Lorain, Collins and Norwalk. She was a former member of the Norwalk VFW Post 2743 Ladies Auxiliary and past owner of the Collins Grocery Store. She was a member of the West Hartland United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her son, Kenneth (Carol) Lantz of Bellevue; grandson, Michael Lantz of Bellevue; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd "Red" Shoup in 1979; sister, Doris "Bunny" Smith; and brother, Gerald "Jerry" Lantz.
Friends may call on Friday, October 30, 2015 from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at 11:00 A.M. at the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk. The Rev. D. Josh Arrington will officiate. Private burial will follow at Union Cemetery in Sulpher Springs.
