Debra S. Scott, age 58, of Sandusky, died Friday morning, October 30, 2015, at her residence, following a long courageous battle with cancer.
She was born October 7, 1957, in Sandusky, and graduated from Margaretta High School.
She worked for KBI, Sandusky, as a machine operator for many years and was a proud member of the UAW Local 913. Debra was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Castalia, the Sandusky Eagles, and the Sandusky American Legion. She loved her flowers, spending time with her grandchildren, and being a friend to everyone.
She is survived by her husband Terry Scott; two daughters Tami Scott and Traci (Brad) Beaverson; mother Nancy (Maley) Matter; two grandchildren Riley and Skylar Beaverson; brother Steven Matter; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Debra was preceded in death by her father Eldon "Al" Matter in 2013.
Friends may call from 5-8 PM Sunday, November 1, 2015, and from 10 AM until time of services at 11 AM, Monday, November 2, 2015, at Ransom Funeral and Cremation Service, 610 S. Washington St., Castalia, OH. Rev Kathleen Suggitt will officiate. Burial will be in Castalia Cemetery.
