Lena C. (Harris) Clayton, 91 of Sandusky, died Sunday, November 8, 2015, in Firelands Regional Medical Center.
She was born on November 25, 1923 in Nashville, TN., to the late Thomas and Lottie (Darden) Harris.
She was a 1940 graduate of Pearl High School in Nashville, TN.
Lena was employed by Sandusky Plastics for 18 years.
She was member of Second Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Senior Choir, and the Just Us Club.
She is survived by sons, Charles Clayton, Pittsburgh, PA, Gary (Kris) Clayton, and Keith (Ginene) Clayton, both of Sandusky; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Clayton in 2005; parents; granddaughter, RadheGoVinda Clayton; twin brother, Leonard Harris, and sister, Doris Brandon.
Friends may call on Friday, November 13, 2015, from 11 A.M. until time of funeral services at 12 P.M. Noon in Second Baptist Church, 315 Decatur St., Sandusky. Rev. Reginald Taylor will officiate. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Lena's name may be made to Second Baptist Church.
