Vallie Stanley age 75 of Clyde went home to the arms of Jesus, Monday Nov. 9, 2015 at her residence.
She was born January 2, 1940 in Paw Paw, WV the daughter of the late Dewey & Flossie (Moyer) Herrell.
Vallie was employed with the Ohio Turnpike and was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church, Clyde.
She married Edward Stanley, Jr. June 11, 1960 in Clyde. He preceded her in death May 23, 2013.
Survivors include her sons; Jeff Stanley, Rex Stanley, James Stanley all of Clyde, daughter; Mary (Alan) Hillman of Clyde, 6 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and her sister Donna Prenzil of Bettesville, OH. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her daughter; Dolly Sue Newsome and brothers; Raymond Herrell, Charles Herrell and Glenn Herrell.
Friends will be received on Thursday, Nov. 12, 2015 from 2 - 4 & 6 - 8 pm at Foos Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 504 E. McPherson, Clyde, where a funeral service will be held Friday, Nov. 13, 2015 at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at McPherson Cemetery, Clyde.
