Jane A. Bellard age 63 of Bellevue passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at Stein Hospice, Sandusky. She was born July 4, 1947 in Hartford City, IN the daughter of the late Charles & Mary (Chick) Leonard.
Jane worked at The Bellevue Gazette for 15 years and retired from J.C. Penny’s in Sandusky where she worked at the catalog desk. She was a breast cancer survivor and was active with the Susan G. Komen Foundation participating in walks and other fund raisers. Jane was a NASCAR fan and enjoyed camping, gardening and photography.
She is survived by her husband, Lawrence Bellard whom she married Aug. 11, 1986, son, Allen (Lisa) Taylor of Martin, OH, daughter, Melissa (John) Winter of Glenn Allen, VA, grandchildren, Mia & Hailey Westfere, Samantha & Patrick Winter and her brother Bruce (Judith) Leonard of Fremont.
A private funeral will be held. Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue is in care of arrangements.
