Louis J. Scott Jr., age 71, of Berlin Heights, died Friday evening, November 13, 2015 at Fisher-Titus Medical Center.
He was born August 16, 1944 in Williamson, WV and was a graduate of Margaretta High School.
He worked at the former Bar Rubber Co. in Sandusky and worked 38 years with Delphi, retiring in 2006. He was a member of Local 913 Union and was a past committee member of the UAW. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Huron, Vermilion VFW Holland-Bond Post 7576, Huron Eagles Aerie 2875, and the Sandusky Masons Perseverance Lodge 329 F&AM. He enjoyed spending time outdoors and with his family and friends, fishing and gardening.
He is survived by his mother, June (Mullins) Scott of Castalia; sons, Kevin (Kim) Scott and Dave (Pam) Scott, both of Berlin Heights; grandsons, Kyle, Tyler, Brendan and Cody Scott; siblings, Brenda (Butch) Ruthsatz of Castalia, Diane (Bill) Stauder of Huron, and Terry (The late Deb Scott) of Castalia; sister-in-law, Kathy Scott of Norwalk; and carol (Reed) Scott.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Kate Scott, in 2009; father, Louis J. Scott Sr.; and a brother, Rodney Scott.
Friends may call Wednesday from 11:30 A.M. until time of service at 1:00 P.M. at the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk. The Rev. Mandy Oleson will officiate. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Berlin Heights.
