Gladys E. Braddock

Gladys E. Braddock, 91, of Milan, Ohio, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, November 24th in the care of Admiral's Pointe and Stein Hospice.

Gladys was preceded in death by beloved parents Elsie and Melville Wilson, her sister Ardis Taylor and brother, George Wilson.

Gladys is survived by her daughter Barbara of Horseheads, NY; her sons Curtis (Trish) of Byrdstown, TN; William (Carolyn) of Norwalk, OH; Bruce (Patty) of Milan, OH; and Matthew of Port Clinton, OH; her grandchildren Kellie, Jenny, Julie, Scott, Erik and Clint; and her seven great grandchildren Sydney, Brock, Colton, Cade, Carson, Logan and James; and her sister in law, and nieces and nephews. She was also blessed to have many cherished friends and extended family members.

Gladys was born March 27, 1924 in Cleveland Heights, Ohio. She was a 1942 graduate of Cleveland Heights High School. She had fond memories of spending time on the farm in Madison, Ohio, donating to charities and even taking a few flying lessons along the way. During her working years, she was employed as a sales associate at Shinrock Elevator, then rounded out her career as a warranty clerk and bookkeeper, retiring from Klaus Oldsmobile in Sandusky, Ohio. Gladys enjoyed life, had her dessert first, enjoyed her sweets, and especially loved the company of her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

At the request of the family, a private ceremony will be held. Those wishing to honor Gladys' memory may do so by contributing to Stein Hospice Services, 1200 Sycamore Lane, Sandusky, OH 44870.
