Mildred Raschke, 88, of Bellevue passed away Monday, December 14, 2015 at The Bellevue Hospital. S
he was born February 20, 1927 in Clyde the daughter of Frank and Jenny (Zmuda) Celek.
Mildred worked at the GE Lamp Plant in Bellevue for 35 years until retiring in 1985. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church and the Altar Rosary Society. She volunteered at the Bellevue Hospital and Franciscan Center in Green Springs. She enjoyed bowling and her membership to the Car Coddlers of Ohio.
She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Arthur "Louie" Raschke, whom she married January 25, 1947 at Fremont St. Ann's Church; One son, Thomas Raschke of Toledo; Daughter, Cynthia (Gus) Van Fleet of Toledo; and grandson, Dr. Andrew Raschke of Toledo.
She is preceded in death by her son, John Raschke.
Friends will be received on Friday, December 18, 2015 from 4-7 p.m. at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue where the Rosary will be recited at 3:30 p.m. A funeral Mass will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Immaculate Conception Church, 231 E. Center St., Bellevue. Burial will follow at McPherson Cemetery.
