Marjorie A. (Noftz) Morgan, 95, residing in Sandusky, passed away Saturday, December 19, 2015 at Providence Care Center.
Marjorie was born on September 20, 1920 in Sandusky, OH to the late August and Mary (Frankenreiter) Noftz.
Marjorie was a 1939 graduate from Sandusky High School. After graduation she was employed by the A.C. Close Agency and the Wagner Quarries Company until she married in 1950. Marjorie was a 25 year member of the American Red Cross Volunteers, where she also served as a Red Cross Board Member for several years. She also assisted with bloodmobiles and preparatory work for open-heart surgeries. She was a life long member of Zion Lutheran Church. Marjorie was a 52 year member of Plum Brook Country Club, where she was a member of the Women's Board for many years and very active in both the women's and couples' golf leagues.
Marjorie is survived by her daughters, Pamela (Russell) Lutz of Holland, MI and Joanne (Michael) Widman of Bloomville, OH; grandson, Michael Widman and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to her parents, Marjorie is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, William P. Morgan in 2001; siblings, Mildred Glass, Mary Grathwol, Catherine Ohlemacher, Carl Noftz, Helen Baughman and Eugene Noftz.
Private family services will be held. Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
