Brandon John Preece

Brandon John Preece, 18, of Monroeville passed away early Friday morning, December 18, 2015 as a results of a traffic accident on State Rt. 99, Monroeville.

Brandon was a graduate of Monroeville High School, Class of 2015. He was enrolled to further his education at BGSU Firelands and was inspired to become a high school history teacher. This desire stemmed from Brandon's love for all things related to history, especially World War II. He was an extraordinarily gifted artist whom received numerous amounts of awards for his various forms of art work. Brandon had a flare for drama and enjoyed writing, directing, and acting in his own short films. These can be viewed on YouTube under his personal channel titled: dafooreaper.

Brandon was an avid Star Wars fan. He was in the process of creating his own movie quality Darth Vader costume. He had a love for developing personal costumes that he wore while attending the comic cons. The night before Brandon's passing, he viewed the premier of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, surrounded by his friends and family. Brandon was a firm supporter of the Second Amendment and enjoyed target practice with his brother and father at the Four County Conservation League in Bellevue.

He is survived by his father, John Preece of Sandusky and mother Tina (Carrie Fleming) Preece of Monroeville; his twin brother, Blake also of Monroeville; grandparents, Dave and Kathy Stillion, Ron and Delores Preece and Thomas Doughty of Monroeville; aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.

Friends may call Monday, December 28, 2015 from 3:00 until time of service at 5:30 PM in the Pfeil Funeral Home, Monroeville Chapel, 109 Monroe Street, Monroeville. Chaplain Charles Odums will officiate.
