Ursula E. Lane, 78, of Norwalk, Ohio, passed away Wednesday evening, December 23, 2015 in Norwalk Memorial Home after a short fight with cancer. Another Angel found her way to heaven.
Born Ursula Else Lang in Homburg Saar Germany on June 12, 1937, she married Airman First Class Tom A. Lane on September 19, 1958 in Ramstein, Germany.
Ursula was preceded in death by her father, Max Lang Sr., by her mother, Antonie Kern Lang, and by her sister, Antonie Lang Gantzer.
She is survived by her husband, Tom, by her sons, Mark (Teresa), and Erik, by her granddaughter, Sarah, and by her grandsons, Derik and Dustin.
Ursula was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Norwalk, Ohio, Eagles Aerie #711 Auxiliary, Fisher Titus Medical Center Auxiliary, and was a former member of the Over the Waves Club. She enjoyed yard work, travel, cooking, and especially enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Ursula retired from Fisher Titus Medical Center after 24 years of service. She also spent 24 years as a patient in their Cardiac Rehab program 3 mornings a week.
Friends may call on Monday, December 28, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio, and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. in the First Presbyterian Church, 21 Firelands Blvd., Norwalk, Ohio. Rev. Clare Brewer will officiate. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Norwalk, Ohio.
