Tammy Jo (G.T.) Bores, 50, of Norwalk, Ohio, passed away Saturday, January 2, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born August 28, 1965 in Willard, Ohio.
Tammy graduated from Monroeville High School, and was a proud and dedicated housewife, and mother, and enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren, and enjoyed spending time in the companionship of her beloved dog, Min Min. Her family would like to express special thanks to the staff of Cleveland Clinic Oncology, F.T.M.C. Oncology, Stein Hospice Service, and Cancer Services of Sandusky, Ohio, for their loving care of their beloved wife, mother, and grandma.
Tammy is survived by her husband of 28 years, Mark A. Bores, by her children, Trisha (Tyler) Stevens of Greenwich, Ohio, Chris (Hillary) Bores of Norwalk, Ohio, and Samantha (Scott) Gerken of Norwalk, Ohio, by her grandchildren, Hayden, Stacey, and David Stevens, and Kylie Gerken, and she enjoyed spending time and the companionship of her beloved dog, Min Min. She is also survived by her siblings, Kenny (Judy) Collins of Norwalk, Ohio, Pat (Sis) (Butch) Kluding of Monroeville, Ohio, Sharon (Gerry) Martin of Monroeville, Ohio, and Betty (Jerry) Downing of Norwalk, Ohio, and by her mother and father in law, Willard and Gwen Bores of Norwalk, Ohio.
Tammy was preceded in death by her parents, William J. and Grethel (Davis) Green, by her brother, William Green, Jr. and numerous other relatives.
Friends may call on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. in Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio. Chaplain David Detwiler of Stein Hospice Service will officiate. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Monroeville, Ohio.
