Regina Frederick, 83, of Bellevue passed away Sunday, May 29, 2011 at The Willows at Bellevue. She was born February 3, 1927 in Bellevue the daughter of Lee Roy and Vera (Amos) Ritter. She married Willard A. Frederick on March 2, 1947 in Bellevue. He preceded her in death in 1987. Regina owned and operated a nursery school in Bellevue for many years.
Regina was a 1945 graduate of Bellevue High School, a member of Seybert United Methodist Church, WSWS Club, Eastern Star - E.O. Merry Chapter, and Bellevue Alumni Association. She was a volunteer at the Bellevue Hospital, and loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Becky Sue (John) Hall of Brandon, MS, Verlea (Randy) Santoro of Bellevue, and Kim (Roxanne) Frederick of Bellevue; 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren; sister Jocelyn Bradford of Florida, brother-in-laws, Robert Rice of Utica, OH, Harlan & Joann Frederick of Bellevue, sister-in-laws, Ruth Bennett of Fremont and Donna & merle McKeever of Fostoria.
In addition to her parents and husband she is preceded in death by her brother Howard Ritter, and her sister Perma Rice.
Friends will be received on Thursday, June 2, 2011 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue. A funeral service will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at Seybert United Methodist Church, 442 West Main Street, Bellevue, Ohio 44811. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memory Gardens, Clyde, Ohio.
Memorials can be made to the School of Hope, Stein Hospice, or The Willows at Bellevue.
