Margaret Elizabeth Rice, 91, of Sandusky, died Friday, January 15, 2016, in Parkvue Healthcare Center.
She was born on February 22, 1924, in Covington, VA to the late Austin and Ethel (Deener) Lugar.
Margaret was employed by Firelands Regional Medical Center in housekeeping.
She loved all the activities at Parkvue, especially bingo, and being the President of Danny Day Club at Parkvue.
She is survived by her daughters, Diane Dietrich and Jennifer (Ron) Ross, both of Huron; grandchildren, Beth Lewis, Archibold, OH, and Ron Ross of Huron; a great-grandson, Landon Lewis, and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Betty; and a brother, Russell Lugar.
At her request cremation will take place and private family services will be held. Memorial contributions in Margaret's name may be made to Humane Society of Erie County, 1911 Superior St., Sandusky, OH 44870.
