Samuel E. Kennedy, 53, residing in Milan, passed away Sunday morning, February 7, 2016 at University of Toledo Medical Center after a lengthy illness.
Samuel was born on April 6, 1962 in Norton, VA. He was the son of Grant S. and Dolores Kennedy.
Samuel was a truck driver for over 30 years for several different companies before he retired in 2008. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, doing yard work, traveling and spending time with his family and friends.
Samuel is survived by his daughter, Cherene (John) Keim; son, Grant S. Kennedy Jr.; grandchildren, Kaiden and Kennedy; sister, Mary (Mike) Shephard; special nieces, Chrissy, Missy, Tammy, Sammie; a very special cousin, Tammy Camp; step-mother, Dolores Kennedy and many other relatives.
Samuel is preceded in death by, his father, Grant.
Friends may call Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 1:00 pm until the time of the memorial service at 3:00 pm at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky with Pastor Donald Greene presiding.
