Elizabeth Irene (Hower) Hillyard, 86, residing in North Fort Myers, FL passed away Monday, February 29, 2016.
Elizabeth was born on July 12, 1929 in Port Clinton, OH to the late Homer Hower and Bertha (Rickner) Muehling.
Elizabeth graduated from Kernersville Bible College in South Carolina. She had lived in Fort Myers, FL since 1965 and worked for the state for 27 years.
Elizabeth is survived by her daughters, Myra B. Eady and Connie Ricci of North Fort Myers, FL; five grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 1 great great-grandchild; sisters, Ellen Rose (Alvin) Gill of Sandusky and Marra L. (Jack) Morrow of Coral Springs, FL and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to her parents, Elizabeth is preceded in death by her daughter, Brenda K. Keough; sister, Agnes Mae (Edmond) Wells and brother, Kenneth Nelson Hower.
A graveside service will be conducted on Monday, March 7, 2016 at 11:00 am at Meadow Green Memorial Park, 2602 Bogart Road, Huron in the Mausoleum Chapel. Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
