Jane C. Townsend, 85, of Sandusky, passed away on Tuesday morning, March 15, 2016 in North Coast Transitional Care, Sandusky, after a brief illness.
She was born on March 8, 1931 in Mt. Vernon, Ohio.
She held many jobs through the years, most notably working at the former New Departure.
Jane is survived by her husband, Clyde Townsend; brother, Chuck Weeks, of Lexington, OH; and nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister and brother, Margie and Gale.
At Jane's request, cremation will take place. Private services will be held.
