Brent A. Thomas (B-Dawg)

Brent A. Thomas (B-Dawg), 42, a lifelong resident of Norwalk, Ohio, is now flying high after passing away Wednesday, March 9, 2016 of natural causes.

Brent accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior last year. He confessed to his friends and family that he was on God's side now, and that he was a changed man. Following the Lord filled him with peace and comfort to handle his illness with multiple sclerosis.

Brent was a competitive, die-hard Steelers fan who loved to talk smack with anyone who wasn't. He took fashion cues from no one, as evidenced by the Steelers apparel and accessories that he was never without. He coached, influenced, and strongly supported his nephews, niece, and daughter in basketball. Brent had an infectious laugh and could make friends with anyone. He loved to eat and drink chocolate. In his earlier years, he went to St. Paul High School and EHOVE Joint Vocational School. He worked in both the welding and construction industries. Brent spent his free time playing video games, drinking Mountain Dew, and bantering about any and everything with his beloved friends and family. His legacy will be cherished with these fond memories.

Brent is survived by his parents: Karen Evon Thomas of Norwalk, Ohio, Isaiah Thomas of Jacksonville, Florida, and Calvin (Ovida) Adcock of Norwalk, Ohio, siblings: Jeffrey Thomas (Chrystal) and Kisha Haraway of Norwalk, Ohio, three daughters: Jhenia Thomas of Sandusky, Ohio, Alexandria (Ali) Brennan, and Marly Geretz of Norwalk, Ohio, six nephews, one niece, a special friend Mary Jane, and numerous family members.

Brent was preceded in death by his grandparents: Florine Harkness, William Harkness and Annie Adcock.

Thank you to Walker Funeral Home for handling his final arrangements.

A memorial service will be held at New Wineskin Ministries, Pastor Sarah Robinson, 56 Glover Ave., Norwalk, Ohio on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Bishop Steve Robinson of Lorain will officiate.
