Dan "Danny" E. Vaccaro, 39, of Sandusky, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 17, 2016 in Firelands Regional Medical Center.
He was born in Sandusky on July 19, 1976, the son of Dan A. and Kim (Decker) Vaccaro.
He was a member of the Sandusky High School class of 1995, and was a truck driver for Con-way Freight for 8 years. Danny was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church. He loved motorcycles and racing, but most of all, Danny was a family man. He was a great father, and his legacy will live on through his children, family, and many friends.
Danny is survived by his wife, Jamie (Luzader) Rhuda, whom he married on November 1, 2012; children, Logan and Ty Rhuda and Dylan and Dani Vaccaro; mother and father, Kim and Dan A. Vaccaro; sister, Adrienne Vladiff; brothers, Paul, Drew, and Patrick Vaccaro; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Matthew Vaccaro; paternal grandparents, Gabe and Mary Vaccaro; maternal grandparents, Charles and Lois Decker; aunt, Kathleen Risenburg; and uncle, Lawrence Decker.
Friends may call on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. at Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Per Danny's wishes, cremation will follow. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 A.M. on Monday, March 27 at Holy Angels Catholic Church, 428 Tiffin Ave. Rev. Michael P. Roemmele will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Danny's name to his wife, Jamie, for the benefit of the kids.
