Audrey D. (King) Meister, 93, residing in Monroeville, passed away early Monday morning, March 28, 2016 at O'Neill Healthcare Bay Village after a lengthy illness.
Audrey was born on July 29, 1922 in Sandusky, OH to the late Rolland and Marzeta (Kusser) King.
Audrey attended Sandusky High School. She retired from Periodical Publishing after 22 years of service. Audrey was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and attended Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Avon Lake. Audrey had a life long passion for reading and music.
Audrey is survived by her son, James (Donna) Meister; three grandchildren, Lisa Cornett, Katie Milner and Eric Meister; five great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Carver, Haley and Cassidy Milner, Hazel and Leah Meister; sister, Alice Dobyns and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to her parents, Audrey is preceded in death by her husband, James Meister and daughter Virginia "Ginny" Meister.
Friends may call on Thursday, March 31, 2016 from 9:00 am until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 429 Central Ave., Sandusky. Burial will take place in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon Lake, OH.
