Keegan Wyatt Plue, 15, of Sandusky, hit the ultimate home run and slid into his Heavenly Home, on Sunday, April 3, 2016 in University Hospital, Cleveland.
He was born on March 20, 2001 in Norwalk.
He was currently a freshman at Perkins High School. Keegan loved music. He was learning the drums and was practicing, and improving, every day. He had an obsession with shoes and a huge love of baseball - he was #14 on the Perkins baseball team. With a smile that would light up a room, everything Keegan did was born out of his tremendous love for others. A true protector of his family and friends, he was mature beyond his years. His, at times, irritating sense of humor will be deeply missed. He will be deeply missed. But his family has faith and hope because they know that Keegan loved Jesus.
Keegan is survived by his father, Dustin (Nicole Miller) Plue; mother, Lisa (Scott) Timbs Keween; "bonus mom," Belinda Corbin Plue; "bonus dad," Ken Nixon; siblings, Kaiden Nixon, Leland Plue, Jessica Carter, Justine Benton, and Jacob Keween; grandparents, Terry and Cynthia Plue, Gale and Lynda Timbs, Bill and Vicki Corbin, and Chuck and Carol Keween; and many loving aunts and uncles, cousins, other family members, and friends.
Friends may call on Friday, April 8, 2016 from 4-8 P.M. at Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Cremation will follow. Two opportunities to celebrate Keegan's life will take place: 1. Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 11 A.M. at Chapel on the Lake, 145 S. Bridge Rd., Lakeside, OH 43440, with Pastor Brad Hall officiating and 2. Sunday, April 10, 2016 at 12 (Noon) at Venice Road Baptist Church, 3814 Venice Rd., Sandusky, OH 44870, with Pastor B.R.
