Ralph E. Richtarsic, 64, of Norwalk, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2016, in Fisher-Titus Medical Center.
He was born May 24, 1951 in Norwalk, Ohio, to the late Edward and Helen (Gannoss) Richtarsic, and was a lifelong area resident.
Ralph attended Norwalk High School, and was a member of Teamsters Local #964. He drove a car hauler for 27 years, had driven for the West Baking Company, and had worked at Riley's Hilltop Gulf in Norwalk. Ralph enjoyed farming, working on tractors, and Sand Drags with Al Hurst.
He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Catherine "Cathy" E. (Plew) Richtarsic of Norwalk, Ohio, by his children, Jon Richtarsic, Lorena Richtarsic, Joseph Richtarsic, Scott (Sandy) Plew of Norwalk, Ohio, and Mark Delvalle of Norwalk, Ohio, by his granddaughter, Ella RIchtarsic of Massillon Ohio, by his great granddaughters, Ryleigh and Jordan Skiver, and by his sister, Kathleen (Mike) Leak of Norwalk, Ohio.
Friends may call on Thursday, April 7, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio. Graveside services will be held on Friday, April 8, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in Olena Cemetery.
