Alice Mae (Shoemaker) Stacy, 63, of Sandusky passed away Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Stein Hospice Care Center following a lengthy illness.
Alice was born on September 11, 1952 in Sandusky, OH to the late George and Joyce (Winkel) Shoemaker.
Alice attended Wayside Temple and was a press operator at Tenneco for 16 years. In her spare time, she enjoyed fishing, cooking, shopping garage sales, and browsing the internet. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
Alice is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Jerry Stacy, Sr.; two sons, James (Peg) Stacy of Norwalk and Jerry, Jr. (Sandra) Stacy of Sandusky; 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Alice is preceded in death by her son, Joseph Stacy.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Avenue, Sandusky, OH. Pastor Rusty Yost will officiate the service.
