Richard Huber, 88, of Milan, passed away Friday evening, April 22, 2016 at Addison Heights Health & Rehabilitation Center in Maumee, OH after a brief illness.
Richard was born on September 29, 1927 in Milan, OH to the late Roman and Clara (Dice) Huber.
Richard was a graduate of the Ohio State University and Cornell Law School. He practiced Law in both Milan and Oberlin for many years. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy who proudly served his country during WWII. Richard was a member of the Cornell Law School Alum Association and the Milan VFW. In his spare time, he enjoyed reading, especially all the newspapers, watching movies, riding roller coasters, and having his morning coffee with his friends and talking politics.
Richard is survived by his daughter, Molly (Don) Hermes of El Cerrito, CA; sister, Blanche Brown of Los Angeles, CA; nieces and nephews, Alexis Clyde, Robert Arheit, Pam and Ken Brown and other relatives.
In addition to his parents, Richard is preceded in death by his two children, John and Greta Huber.
Friends may call on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 from 1:00 pm until the time of the memorial service at 2:00 pm at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory Milan Chapel, 1 South Main Street, Milan with Rev. Mary Grigolia of the Unitarian-Universalist Church presiding.
