James "Jim" L. Hodgkinson, 64, of Sandusky, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 28, 2016 in Firelands Regional Medical Center.
He was born on December 4, 1951 in Sandusky to the late Lloyd and Ruth (Sudbrink) Hodgkinson.
He worked a number of jobs, but spent many years at both Mack Iron Works and Whirlpool. He loved to shoot pool, and played in many different leagues. He also loved spending time with his two daughters.
Jim is survived by his daughters, Christina (Jeff Goins) Hodgkinson and Jamie Hodgkinson, both of Sandusky; and his former wife, Mary Jane Hodgkinson.
Through tissue donation Jim can continue to give to others, and at his request cremation will take place.
Friends may call on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 from 3-6 at Venice Road Baptist Church, 3814 Venice Rd., Sandusky. Rev. B.R. Hatfield will preside.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jim's name to Stein Hospice, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, OH 44870 or to The Humane Society of Erie County, 1911 Superior St., Sandusky, OH 44870.
