Patricia A. McDonough was born on January 31, 1955 in Norwalk, Ohio.
She attended Norwalk High School, and later moved to Cleveland, Ohio, where she was working as a waitress when she met her husband, David A. McDonough. They were married July 31, 1976 in Norwalk. They had a daughter, Tacy. She worked at Norwalk Furniture, and was also a teacher's aide at Norwalk High School. She loved decorating and gardening, and was a participant in the Norwalk Garden Tours, where she showed off her back yard garden and koi pond. She loved watching high school sports, riding her bike with her beloved miniature dachshund, Cooper, and the occasional casino trip with her daughter. One of her biggest joys in life was watching her grandchildren, Hunter (13) and Sophia (7). Her only regret in life was knowing she wouldn't get to see them grow up.
She is survived by her dedicated husband of 39 years, David, and their daughter, Tacy (Tom) Bond. Patricia is also survived by brothers, Roger (Diane) Ward of Sandusky, and Rick (Dawn Fell) of Norwalk.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and by her in-laws, Archie and Annabelle McDonough. Per her wishes, she was cremated and there will be a private memorial service.
