Ralph H. Bache, 92, of Norwalk, was called to rest from his home Friday afternoon, April 29, 2016 with his family and hospice by his side.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of sixty nine years, Glenna, sons Kevin (Laura) and Kim (Linda), grand-daughters Ashlea (Alex) Gray, Erin, Brittany and Jenna Bache and great grand-daughter Pipit Gray.
Ralph was a native of Lorain, Ohio, moving to Norwalk in 1953 to begin a forty year career as an independent insurance agent. He was a WWII Navy veteran, and a 1949 graduate of Bowling Green State University where he co-founded the Delta Tau chapter of the Delta Tau Delta fraternity.
He was active in numerous organizations including the Boy Scouts of America, Norwalk Chamber of Commerce, Huron County United Fund, Shriner's Zenobia Temple, and the Sandusky Power Squadron. He enjoyed traveling, golfing, boating, and spending time with his family and friends.
The funeral service begins at One o'clock Friday, May 6, 2016 at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 87 West Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio with the Reverends Margaret D'Anieri, and Jan Smith Wood officiating.
