Gary Thomas, 50, residing in Sandusky, passed away Saturday morning, May 14, 2016 at Firelands Regional Medical Center unexpectedly.
He was born on June 8, 1965 in Sandusky to Ruth (Nash) Aviles and the late Travis Thomas Sr.
Gary always enjoyed a good joke, clowning around, animals, watching TV, especially Texas Walker, Jeopardy and sports of all kind.
Gary is survived by his mother; two sisters, Angela (Melvin) Wilson of Sandusky, OH and Amy Thomas of Lorain, OH; three brothers, Travis Thomas Jr. of Sandusky, OH, Craig (Marla) Thomas of Monroeville, OH and Doug Thomas of Sandusky, OH along with several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Gary was preceded in death by his father and brother, Donald Thomas.
Private family services will be held. The Groff Funeral Home and Crematory are handling the arrangements for the family.
