Manuel P. Narcizo, Jr., 91, of Sandusky, passed away Saturday morning, May 28, 2016 at Providence Care Center.
Manuel was born December 11, 1924 in Portsmouth, Rhode Island to the late Manuel P. Narcizo, Sr. and Isidora (Sousa) Narcizo.
He was a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church and the Sandusky Knights of Columbus. He served in the Air Force during World War II and Korea. In his spare time, he enjoyed teaching line and other types of dance, watching sports, especially soccer, and spending time with his family.
Manuel is survived by sons, Paul (Marti) Narcizo and Steven Narcizo both of Sandusky; grandchildren, Brian (Donna) Smith of Milan, OH and Nick (Angel) Smith of Canton, OH; great-grandchildren, Corey, Megan, Collin, and Callie; sister, Laura Narcizo of Virginia and brothers, Joe Narcizo and (John) Evelyn Narcizo both of Connecticut.
In addition to his parents, Manuel is preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Gertrude (Gomes) Narcizo and brother Frank Narcizo.
Friends may call on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 from 4 to 7 pm at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E Perkins Avenue, Sandusky. A graveside service will take place on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at 10 am at Meadow Green Memorial Park in Huron.
