Junior C. Gallagher, 72, a resident of the Ohio Veterans Home, Sandusky passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at his residence
He was born December 28, 1943 in Terra Alta, West Virginia and was a graduate of the McComb High School.
Junior served in the U.S. Marine Corp. during the Vietnam Era and was a member of the AMVETS.
He is survived by three children, Josetta Varney, Russell Point, Ohio, Jeni Gallagher, Wapakoneta, Ohio and Jason Gallagher, Bellefontaine, Ohio; six grandchildren, Ashlyn (Hugo) Cortez, Tiffany (Justin) Kindle, Summer Stiles, Jacob (Megan) Varney, Chloe Gallagher and Alex Gallagher; seven great grandchildren; two sisters, Arleen and Sharon; three brothers, Jim, Fred and Chuck.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Evaleen (Armstrong) Gallagher; one granddaughter, Brittany Kindle and the mother of his children, Jackie Gallagher.
Friends may call on Monday, June 6, 2016 from 1:00 PM until time of Military Funeral Service at 1:30 PM in the Giffin Chapel of the Ohio Veterans Home, 3416 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky. Chaplain Paul Birmingham will officiate. Burial will be in the Ohio Veterans Home Cemetery.
