Barry A. Cawthon, 61, of Monroeville, Ohio, passed away Friday afternoon, June 10, 2016 in the Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky, Ohio.
He was born March 23, 1955 in Elyria, Ohio, and lived in this area most of his life.
Barry was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Cindy L. (Minneman) Cawthon of Monroeville, Ohio, by his children, Jordan E. (Cornell) Smith of Norwalk, Ohio, Jocelyn L. (Justin) Barnes of Monroeville, Ohio, and Jerod M. (Abbey) Smith of Norwalk, Ohio. Barry is also survived by 4 grandchildren, and by his siblings, Jim (Karen) Thorpe of Ozark, Missouri, Debra (James S.) Duncan of Martinez, California, and Mike (Debi) Murphy of Lorain, Ohio.
Barry was preceded in death by his parents, Oren and Myrtle (Ketchum) Cawthon, and by his maternal grandparents, Fred and Rose Ketchum.
There will be no calling hours. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
