Pauline A. Cring, 98, of Norwalk, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2016 in Gaymont Nursing Center, Norwalk, Ohio.
She was born June 6, 1918 in Knox County, Ohio to the late Clark and Katie (Utley) Day, and came to this area in 1958 from Morrow County, Ohio.
Pauline attended Calvary Baptist Church, Norwalk, Ohio, and was a former employee of the Singer Sewing Center, Norwalk, Ohio. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, canning, traveling, and enjoyed the companionship of her pets.
Pauline is survived by her children, Gordon M. (Beverly) Cring of Norwalk, Ohio, H. Paul (Ellen) Cring of Milan, Ohio, and Cheryl Cring of Norwalk, Ohio, 6 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, and by her brother, Gerald Day of California.
She was preceded in death by her husband, H. Bernard Cring in 2002, by her brothers, Harold, Milton, Harry, and Russell Day, and by her sisters, Carrie Gant, Louda Day, and Mildred Mills.
There will be no calling hours. Funeral services will be private. Interment will be in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron, Ohio.
