Harry P. Mindera, 67, of Sandusky, died Friday, June 17, 2016, in St. John Medical Center, Westlake, OH.
He was born on July 1, 1948 in Bristol, CT., and was a U.S. Army veteran serving in the Vietnam War.
Harry was employed by K.B.I. for over 50 years.
He was an active member of the U.A.W. Local 913, a volunteer for the fire brigade, and a member of the Erie Conservation League. Harry loved attending classic car shows, traveling, going the library, and most of all spend time with family, watching his grandchildren's activities.
He is survived by his daughters, Sukie (Richard) Finneran, Sandusky, Natasha (Eric) Beddoes, Mechanicsburg, OH, and Courtney (Chad) Reinholt, Rossford, OH; grandchildren, Kylie, Makenzie, Logan, Caitlin, Chloe, Aiden, Noah, and Claire; sister, Pam Mindera, of Terryville, CT; and brother, Steven Mindera, Terryville, CT.; and his companion, Mary Zuk, Sandusky.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Stephen and Olga Mindera; aunt, Mary McCooey; and uncle, Harry Mindera.
Friends may call on Thursday, June 23, 2016, from 6 P.M. until time of memorial services at 7 P.M. in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Rev. Dave Brown of The Chapel will officiate.
