Jimmy Joe Jessee, Jr., 59, of Sandusky, rode is Harley into Heaven on July 1, 2016 in Concord Care Center of Sandusky, under the care of Stein Hospice, after a lengthy illness.
He was born on January 3, 1957 in Sandusky to Jimmy, Sr. and the late Barbara Sue (Fortner) Jessee. He graduated from Sandusky High School.
Jimmy was extremely hardworking. He was a union carpenter, working under Northwest Ohio Carpenters Local 2239. He was an avid NASCAR and Cleveland Indians fan.
Jimmy is survived by his father, Jimmy Joe Jessee, Sr.; sisters, Sheila (Thomas) Behnke, Julie (John) Jessee-Watson, Robin (Ray) Hall, Ronalyn Buder, and Jacqueline (Fred Chavarria) Conley; and many other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Sue Jessee, earlier this year; companion, Tracie Galindo; step-daughter, Chelsea Hoffman-Aldrich; and other family members, including grandparents, nieces, and nephews.
Friends may call on Thursday, July 7, 2016 from 3 P.M. until time of funeral services at 5 P.M. at Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Pastor Dave Brown will officiate. Immediately following services, the family invites all in attendance to join them for a meal in the Toft Event Room. Per Jimmy's wishes, cremation will take place and burial will be on Friday in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Jimmy's name to Stein Hospice, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, OH 44870.
