Julie A. (Dubbert) Hershiser, 61, residing in Sandusky, passed away unexpectedly Friday morning, July 8, 2016 at Firelands Regional Medical Center.
Julie was born on October 19, 1954 in Sandusky, OH to the late Bernard W. and Irene (Wobser) Dubbert.
Julie was a 1972 graduate from Danbury High School and received her bachelor's degree in business and accounting from Bowling Green State University Firelands Campus. In her spare time, she enjoyed doing ceramics, crafts, decorating, camping and playing cards. Julie was a loving mother and loved being with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Julie is survived by her daughters, Becky (Glenn) Hoag of Greenwich and Dawn (Jesse) Murr of Green Springs; sons, Eric (Jennifer Luzader) Petrick and Travis (Katie) Hershiser both of Sandusky; 11 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sisters, Darlene Boggs and Kathy House; brothers, Dale and Bernard Dubbert; former husband, Duane Hershiser and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Friends may call on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 from 11:00 am until the time of funeral services at 1:00 pm at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E Perkins Ave, Sandusky with Pastor Rick Kennison presiding.
