Scott D. Eggleston

Scott D. Eggleston, 61, of Norwalk, Ohio, passed away Friday, July 8, 2016 in Fisher Titus Medical Center.

He was born June 19, 1955 in Washington, Indiana, to the late Robert L. and Carole J. (Warner) Eggleston, and came to this area in 1986 from Warsaw, Indiana.

Scott was a member of Eagles Aerie #711, Norwalk, Ohio. He was a former employee of Industrial Powder Coatings, Norwalk, Ohio, S K Finishing, Lorain, Ohio, Autoplas of Bellevue, Ohio, and was most recently employed at Artiflex of Clyde, Ohio. He was a talented artist, enjoyed playing golf, swimming and boating, NASCAR, and especially enjoyed spending time with family. Scott was an organ donor, saving the eyesight of two individuals with cornea donation.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Anna L. (Jordan) Eggleston of Norwalk, Ohio, by his children, Jill (Bill) Lantz of Huron, Ohio, Cari (Jerry) Hazelwood of Norwalk, Ohio, and Robert (Emma) Eggleston of Norwalk, Ohio, by four grandchildren, Jordan Eggleston (Taylor Moore), Annika and Ethan Lantz, and Dylan Eggleston.

Scott is also survived by siblings, Jane Allen of Union, Michigan, Kelly (Rick) Lenaeus of 29 Palms, California, and Eric Eggleston of Norwalk, Ohio. He was also a father figure to so many more.

Friends may call on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service at 5:00 p.m. in Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio. Pastor Ed Young will officiate.

Memorial contributions may be made to Christie Lane Workshop, 306 South Norwalk Road, Norwalk, Ohio 44857.

A celebration of Scott's life will also be held on Saturday, July 30, 2016 from 12:00 noon until 3:00 p.m. in American Legion Post #253, 756 South Main Street, North Webster, Indiana.
