Jeanne Margaret Steffanni, 91, of Norwalk, Ohio, joined her loving husband and family members in Heaven, Wednesday morning, August 17, 2016 in Norwalk Memorial Home.
She was born December 18, 1924 in Wakeman, Ohio, to the late Harry F. and Mary (Schwartz) Stoll.
Jeanne was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Wakeman, Ohio, and was the former co-owner with her husband, David, of the West Haven Motel of Oberlin, Ohio for 20 years. She was a former employee of Jean Frock and Mary Ann Shops, and the K & H Drug Store. Jeanne was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family, especially during the holidays, reading, cooking, sewing, crafting, car show, car races, and traveling to Florida since 1944 with their motorhome.
Jeanne is survived by her children, James (Penny) Steffanni of Norwalk, Ohio, Patrick (Kristie Jo) Steffanni of Norwalk, Ohio, Charles (Patricia) Steffanni of Sandusky, Ohio, Nancy (Paul) Schuster of Elyria, Ohio, and Kevin (Mark Fanta) Steffanni of Naples, Florida, and Mary Ann (Chuck) Scheckel of LaGrange, Ohio, 16 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, and several great great grandchildren. She is also survived by her daughter in law, Sue Petrisko of Hopedale, Ohio.
Jeanne was preceded in death by her husband, David D. Steffanni, Sr. in 2000, by her son, David D. Steffanni Jr., in 1996, by her grandsons, Shane Steffanni, Kyle Petersen, and Ryan Steffanni, by her brother, George B. (Mary) Stoll, and by her foster brother, Jim Schmidt.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Paul Catholic Church, 91 East Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio. Private Inurnment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
