Douglas M. “Buster” Dingus, 63, Huron, died Friday, June 24, 2011, in Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky.
He was born on May 9, 1948 in Dante, VA.
He was employed by the Lower Lake Coal Docks and Cedar Point.
Buster is survived by his wife, Marie (Clem) Dingus, children, Marie VanDyke, Castalia, Marla VanDyke and Trenda Dingus, both of Sandusky, Douglas (Mary) Clem, Huron, and Dennis Hinkle, Tiffin; nine grandchildren; three step- grandchildren; brothers, Robert Dingus, Kentucky, and Roger Kimberlin, Virginia; and a brother-in-law, Sonny Burnette, Huron.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dave and Etta (Massey) Dingus, and sisters, Della Edwards and Barbara Burnette.
Friends may call on Tuesday, June 28, 2011, from 7-9 P.M. in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Friends may also call on Wednesday from 10 A.M. until time of funeral services at 11 A.M. in Mount Harvest Church of God, 150 St. Rt. 113 W, Milan. Rev. Carl Woodyard will officiate.
