Richard D. "Pete" Greene, 55, of Bellevue, passed away on early Monday morning, August 29, 2016 in his home.
He was born on October 13, 1960 in Johnson City, Tenn.
He was employed at Whirlpool for many years.
Pete loved to fish, hunt, and garden. He enjoyed being with his grandchildren, spending time with his friends and family, hosting cookouts, camping, and was a huge Cleveland Browns fan.
Pete is survived by his wife of 36 years, Alesia (Alvarez) Greene; children, Suncia Greene and Richard Greene; grandchildren, Savannah, Eithyn, Pavlos, and KatiJane; father, Jack (Bonnie) Greene; sisters, Trish (Erney) Lewis, of Clyde, and Brenda "Bo" Greene, of Sandusky; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ida (Honeycutt) Greene.
Friends may call on Thursday, September 1, 2016 from 2- 4 and 6-8 pm in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 1pm in the funeral home. Chaplain Mel Sayler will officiate. Burial will follow in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
