Lawrence "Chic" G. Chicotel, 50, of Sandusky, passed away after an illness on Sunday, September 11, 2016 in Vista Care Center, Milan.
He was born on March 19, 1966 in Sandusky and graduated from Sandusky High School in 1985.
He worked at Sandusky Plastics before becoming a journeyman repairman for Lear Corp. for several years.
Chic was a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church. He was always the life of the party and he loved to dance. He was a member of the former IAB Club and a former member of the Sandusky Orioles Club. He loved football and was a big Blue Streak supporter.
Chic is survived by his daughters, Destiny and Faith Chicotel; sisters, Theresa (Keith) Rohrbacher, Patty Chicotel, and Jennifer (Isiah) Hill; nieces and nephews, Brianna, Shelby, Toby, and Shania; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gaton and Dorothea (Macaluso) Chicotel.
Friends may call on Wednesday, September 14 from 4-7 P.M. in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday at 1 P.M. in Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Sandusky, with Rev. Matt Frisbee officiating. Burial will follow in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
