William E. Brisker

 William E. Brisker, age 86, of Sandusky, died Wednesday afternoon, June 29, 2011, in the Providence Care Center, Sandusky after a lengthy illness.

 He was born April 2, 1925, in Oak Hill, OH. During his teen, he was in the Civilian Conservation Corps and was stationed at Yellowstone.  He retired from Huron Lime, and was formerly employed by Medusa Cement, Johnson's Furnace in Bellevue, Clarence Leber Electric, and also worked on his own for several years.  He enjoyed being with his family, and visiting with Don and Roberta Fleming, and Mary Ruth and her son Ernie Trapp. 
 
Bill is survived by 2 daughters Bonnie (Gary) Lieb of Castalia, and Judy (Dan) Kearsley of Sandusky; 2 sons Darrell (Shirley) Brisker of Marietta, OH, and Henry Jay (Carol) Brisker of Castalia; 15 grandchildren; 22  great grandchildren; one sister Viola Shope of South Webster, OH; and several nieces and nephews.
 
He was preceded in death by his first wife Freda (Martin) Brisker in 1957; second wife Minnie (Wood) Brisker in 1983; 2 infant daughters Betty Kay and Pamela Gay; parents William O. and Gertrude (Shuff) Brisker; 3 brothers Harold, Oscar, and Robert Brisker; and two sisters Christina Holback and Edith Vititoe.
 
Friends may call from  5-8 PM  Friday, July 1, 2011, and from 9:00 AM Saturday, July 2, until time of services at 10:00 AM in the Ransom Funeral Home, 610 S. Washington St., Castalia.  The Rev. Philip Gardner officiating.  Burial will be in Castalia Cemetery.
