Charles L. Guelker, 75, of Huron, and formerly of Lakewood, passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2016 in Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky.
He was born on September 22, 1941 to the late Eugene and Alice Guelker. Chuck was a proud 1960 graduate of Cuyahoga Heights High School. He worked more than 30 years as a garbage collector for the city of Lakewood.
In the past, he would frequent Johns Diner in Lakewood as much as he could. Once he moved to the Sandusky area he was involved with different bowling leagues.
Preceded in death by his parents; brother Eugene, Jr; nephew, Jeffrey; and sister-in-law, Gisela.
Survived by nieces, Karen and Susan (Howard); and grand-nephew, Kurtis.
Friends may call on Tuesday, November 29 from 10 a.m. until time of funeral services at 11 a.m. in Bethany English Lutheran Church, 15460 Triskett Ave., Cleveland. Pastor Robert Ferro, Jr. will officiate. Burial will follow in West Park Cemetery, Cleveland.
