Thomas J. Paul, 64, of Sandusky passed away Wednesday morning, November 30, 2016 at his residence following a lengthy illness.
He was born on July 27, 1952 to John and Linda (Porter) Paul in Sandusky.
Tom was a graduate of Margaretta High School, Terra Community College and Tiffin University. He was employed for several area businesses as an accountant throughout the years and from 2006 to 2010 he served as the Erie County Auditor. Tom was an avid Margaretta Polar Bear fan, Detroit Tigers fan and cherished his trips to rural Georgia to visit with extended Paul family.
He is survived by two daughters, Denise Paul and Melanie Paul; two grandsons, one sister, Nancy Paul and his former wife Dorene, all of Sandusky; and a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by one son, Joel T. Paul and his parents.
Memorial services for the family will be held, with his uncle, Rev. Gene T. Paul officiating.
