Daniel J. Gonzalez, 23, residing in Sandusky, passed away early Tuesday morning, December 6, 2016 at his residence after a lengthy illness.
Daniel was born on February 21, 1993 in Sandusky, OH to Jose and Rebecca (Butler) Gonzalez.
Daniel was a 2012 graduate from Sandusky High School. He enjoyed Mexican music, bouncing, car rides, watching TV, the feeling of a fan on his face, his mother's voice and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, Jose Gonzalez of Mexico and Rebecca (Butler) Gonzalez of Sandusky, Daniel is survived by his sister, Haley Gonzalez; brother, Jose Gonzalez; maternal grandparents, Duane and Velma Butler of Monroeville; aunts and uncles, Shawn and Shelly Butler of Sandusky, Cheryl Carroll of Sandusky and Matthew and Dana Butler of Monroeville; nephews, Brycen and Toretto and several loving cousins.
Daniel is preceded in death by his twin brother, Duane Elias Gonzalez.
Friends may call on Thursday, December 8, 2016 at 10:00 am until the time of funeral services at 12:00 pm at Calvary Baptist Church, 1810 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky with Pastor David Hixson presiding. Burial will take place at a later date in Sand Hill Cemetery, Groton Township.
