Diane L. Knauer, 53, of Sandusky, died Tuesday morning, December 6, 2016, in Firelands Regional Medical Center, unexpectedly.
She was born on December 16, 2016, in Sandusky.
Diane was known all around downtown Sandusky as a waitress at several downtown restaurants and also serving at Berardi's.
She loved her grandchildren, music, and was a very caring and loving person who would give a person in need, all the help she could give.
She is survived by her son, Mark (Kelly) Knauer, Sandusky; grandchildren, Avery, Brianna, and Keegan; sister, Debbie Knauer, California, special friend, Al Washek, whom she loved riding his motorcycle with.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Private services will be held by the family. Memorial contributions in Diane's name may be made to the Crossroads Shelter, 1843 Superior St., Sandusky, OH 44870.
