Ronald R. Kluding, 84, of Sandusky, passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2016 in Firelands Regional Medical Center.
He was born on March 19, 1932 in Sandusky to the late Albin and Margaret (Molz) Kluding.
He was a graduate of St. Mary's High School, and worked for Pepsi distribution and retired from the former New Departure. Ronald was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in the Korean War.
He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. He enjoyed crossword puzzles and was known for his unique sense of humor. He loved his grandchildren. He never missed a sporting event, and loved spending time with them, and all of his family.
Ronald is survived by his children, Dennis R. (Nikki) Kluding, Jeffrey D. (Michelle Murphy) Kluding, and Jennifer I. Delgado; 12 grandchildren; 11 greatgrandchildren; sisters, Marianna Scott, of Huron, and Virginia (Raymond) Niehm, of Sandusky; brother, Glenn (Constance) Kluding, of Edgewater, FL; and beloved companion, Buckeye.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, whom he married on December 20, 1957, Katheryne (Lewis) Kluding, on July 30, 2013.
Private graveside services will be held in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Sandusky. Deacon Jeff Claar will officiate and the Marines Corps. Forever Honor and Color Guard will provide military honors.
