Rosemary A. Manner, 78, residing in Sandusky, has gone home to be with her Lord Monday evening, December 12, 2016 at Providence Care Center.
Rosemary was born the youngest of 13 children on May 3, 1938 in Venice, OH to the late Fredrick and Amelia (Fitz) Manner.
Rosemary graduated from St. Mary's High School in 1956 and was a graduate of Terra Technical College. She retired from Western and Southern Life Insurance Company in 2000 after 42 years of service. She was also employed at Cedar Point for 9 years. Rosemary was a member of St. Mary's Parish, serving as captain of the wake committee, she was also a cantor and belonged to the St. Mary's parish and funeral choirs. She volunteered to deliver meals on wheels for several years. Rosemary was most proud of being an aunt to her 37 nieces and nephews, her many great nieces and nephews and her several great-great nieces and nephews. She also enjoyed being the owner to her two precious dogs, Daisy and Tasha.
Rosemary is survived by her sisters-in-law, Rita Manner and Dr. Barbara Manner; brother-in-law, Roger Wehner and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to her parents, Rosemary is preceded in death by her sisters, Sister Mary Teresita, Coletta (Joseph) Bayer, Geraldine (Rodger) Roth, Therese (Bernard) Rinner, Dorothy (Fred) Notestine, Marilyn (Arnold) Siems and Margaret Wehner; brothers, Edwin (Rose Ann), Richard, Paul, Robert (Carol) and Dr. James Manner; nephews, James Roth and Donald Ford and sisters-in-law, Agnes and Connie Manner.
Friends may be received on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at 9:00 am until the time of the Memorial Mass at 10:00 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 429 Central Ave., Sandusky with Father Joe Steinbauer officiating. Private family burial will be held in Calvary Cemetery, Sandusky.
