Ruth Scheerer age 102 of Clyde passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at the Willows At Bellevue. She was born Feb. 15, 1909 in Tiffin the daughter of the late James & Barbara (Chapman) Mann.
Ruth was a school teacher for 35 years starting her career in a one room school at Hopewell - Louden and ending her career in 1972 at Vine Street School in Clyde.
She was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Fremont and the Clyde Senior Center. She enjoyed reading traveling and knitting.
Survivors include her son James D. Scheerer of Ft. Wayne, IN, daughter, Barbara Hackenburg of Clyde, grandchildren, Sheryl Scheerer, James H.F. Scheerer, Susan Bergeman, Richard Hackenburg, Beth Hackenburg, Keith Hackenburg, 10 great grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren, sister in law Dolores Wagoner of Clyde, special friends, Grace Schoenfeld, Janine Burroughs, Diane Granstra and Joseph Johnson. In addition to her parents her husband Merrill Scheerer whom she married March 16, 1935 in Tiffin preceded her in death.
Friends will be received Friday, July 15, 2011 from 6 – 8 pm at Foos – Klein Funeral Home, 318 S. Main St, Clyde, OH 43410. The funeral service will be Saturday 10 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at McPherson Cemetery, Clyde

Juanita Czeczele age 90 of Bellevue passed away Saturday, July 16, 2011 at The Willows at Bellevue. She was born Jan 17, 1921 in Sandusky the daughter of the late Carl & Amelia (Baaske) Zielske.
Juanita retired from the former GTE where she was personnel supervisor. She graduated from Sandusky High School in 1938 where she was in the acapella choir.
She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Bellevue. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, her grandchildren & great grandchildren and her pet cat “Poody”
Survivors include her beloved husband Joseph Czeczele whom she married September 27, 1961 in Monroe, MI, daughters, Gail (Jerry) Foos of Bellevue, Gloria Van Meter of Worthington, grandchildren, Lisa (Russ) Critelli of Huron, Ralph Foos of Bellevue, Brian (Lisa) Foos of Bellevue, Vicki (Rob) Aldrich of Columbus, Robert (Cheryl) Van Meter of Westerville, Todd Van Meter of Columbus, 13 great grandchildren and her sister Virginia Patsch of Sandusky. In addition to her parents her granddaughter Leslie Foos and sister Helen Krebs preceded her in death.
Friends will be received Tuesday, July 19, 2011 beginning at 2pm at Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Pl, Bellevue, OH. The funeral service will be held Wednesday at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Bellevue Catholic Cemetery.
