Linda L. Allen, 72, of Huron passed away Monday, December 19, 2016 in the Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky following a brief illness.
She was born July 26, 1944 in Ewing, Nebraska and had resided most of her life in Stark County, Ohio.
Linda was a graduate of Massillon Washington High School and Kent State University. For 25 years, she owned and operated the former Uniforms Unique in Canton, retiring in 2009. Linda loved spending time with her grandchildren and her hobbies included; reading, gardening, shopping and boating on Lake Erie with her late husband.
She is survived by one daughter, Lori (Ron) Sarrica of Huron; two sons, Brian (Kristin) Allen of Huron and Jason (Stacy) Allen of Brewster, Ohio; five grandchildren, Colleen, Delaney, Scott, Heidi and Jamie; one sister, Carolyn (Patrick) Peel of Massillon, Ohio; sisters in laws and brother in law; Nancy and Robert Roseman and Becky Craig all of Massillon; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Preston Allen in 2006; her father, Harold Craig; her mother Erma Santangelo and one brother, Charles Craig.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no viewing or services. A Celebration of Linda's Life will be held for her family and close friends.
Burial will be in the Rose Hill Memorial Gardens, Massillon, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
